I mean for the canvas to be displayed backlit – something I have been thinking about for a few years. The paint is applied (and removed) thinly enough to be translucent in certain parts. Maybe I will go off the idea. The painting is displayed here with and without backlighting (in this case from natural clouded sky light) which seems to provide an acceptable temperature. The title in my mind was ‘Glowing in the Dark’, so I would like to see it artificially illuminated in a darker environment.
